Commissioned by Textil Wirtschaft magazine, this is the coverage of an interview with Diesel CEO Alessandro Bogliolo at Diesel Headquarters in Italy. The interview was conducted by Tobias Bayer and Textil Wirtschaft Manager Director Michael Werner.
Insight reportage at the renowned London Travellers Club. The Travellers Club is a gentlemen's club established in 1819. The original concept of the club, by Lord Castlereagh and others, dates from the conclusion of the Napoleonic Wars. They envisaged a club where gentlemen who travelled abroad might meet and offer hospitality to distinguished foreign visitors. Together with Italian journalist Paola Mordiglia I shot the prestigious venue and its mood along with an interview with the house manager.
I was commissioned by Italian designer Salvatore Ferragamo to shoot renowned film director Gabriele Salvatores, during the premier of one of his movie at BAFTA, Central London. Work supervised and partly commissioned by The Italian Cinema London.
This is a personal work shot during a six months span in London nightlife. The idea was to document the different tribes that inhabit London during the night outside various venues and clubs. It was shot together with three assistants and with the use of two portable lights and three flashes.
This work was commissioned by the Italian magazine Intelligence in Lifestyle. Following several months spent on agreements and access talks with the Eton College head manager I was granted permission to shot the premises together with journalist Paola Mordiglia.
This work was commissioned by Sole 24 Ore. A two hours nocturnal tour was booked at Newsprinters in Broxbourne, UK. Newsprinters has revolutionised the newspaper manufacturing industry. It has recently received the Shingo Prize, which was never achieved in the UK before across any industry. I was granted exclusive access for this feature and I was guided by the Senior Operations Manager. Newsprinters print and distribute The Sun, The Times and the Sunday Times.
Diesel commissioned me for their 2011 DIESEL U MUSIC Advertising Campaign. Works shot in South East Asia and Northern Italy was selected and chosen for this campaign. The series also received an honorable mention at the IPA 2012.
Reportage on stage and backstage about the Muay Thai, the combat sport of Thailand. Shot at Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok during a week span. This series was shortlisted for the International Photography Awards.
This was a four days work in Milan, Italy. Documenting the harsh living of homelesses, gipsies and migrants, that find shelter among the cracks of the urban environment. It was commissioned by Radio Milan and I worked together with journalist Paola Mordiglia for words to accompany the project and exhibitions. The series was showcased in Milan and Rome, Mencraft.
